Plant Assistant App
Show your plant some love!
The purpose of this application is to provide individual care of every house plant, according to its needs: time to water / perform other cultivation activities (dissolve fertilizer, etc.) proximity to light, degree and timing of irrigation, needed fertilizers, info on nearest plant stores and shopping online in one of the store that near you. According to specified plant needs, the application will remind of timely irrigation, change of soil, best location at home.
Home plants are becoming increasingly popular. Yet they suffer greatly from their owners' lack of knowledge. Plant needs may differ from one another, as may differ their maintenance. This app contains specific information , so the user has all the information he or she will need to grow healthy plants.

Itay Leibovitz, Electrical Engineer.
ItaY is 38 years old, married and has three children.
His wife leaves for work early in the morning so he drops the kids to school in the mornings.
He works as electrical engineer. At spare time he enjoys growing on the windowsill of his kitchen. He especially loves growing edible plants and spices like basil, luisa and mint.
To his youngest daughter, he makes tea with plants he has grown himself. Because of hectic life he always forgets to water his plants and doesn't sure how to grow properly a basil.

Tali Renner, Student at Tel Aviv university.
Tali is 24 years of age, and is a cinema students in the Tel-Aviv university. Tali moved to Tel-Aviv so she could be closer to her university.
She works in a local cafe, and enjoys spending her spare time with friends.
She dreams of a home jungle, but lacks the ability to sustain even her cactus because she is busy studies and work, she doesn't have time
and always forgets to take care of her plants.

The Solution

The app will provide growing tips , will remind the user to water the plant in time (daily/weekly according to the plant), the right amount of water every plant needs, best plant location in the house, and fertilizer information.
The app also contains information about soil change, plant history and grooming tips. If the user wishes to add more plants to his home, the app will advise best options according to the user current data.

Also, nearest plant stores can be located easily via apps' GPS. App allows you to search the store for relevant merchandise and to make purchase online.

About Design
The design comes to support the main goal of the app: manage your home garden and help you to take care of it properly. Tabs with all your plants, will help you to understand better how to take care when needed. Option to search store near you for supplies and etc. Dairy with pictures for each plant by simply taking a photo with you camera. The design is simplistic and neat with minimalistic graphic elements. Easy to approach and manage.
